This holder is mounted on a tilt swivel system keeping your device within easy reach and gripped by a cradle so super strong, your device will stay put even on the most cobbled of city streets. The tilt swivel system allows you to position your mobile to avoid the suns rays, reducing the glare allowing for a brighter more visible screen. Once mounted, this kit should accommodate all battery sizes and is easily attached onto a ProClip Mounting Platform. We have designed the holder to accept the charging cable to allow you to charge your device while it is in the cradle. Some holders allow your device to be in the cradle in a vertical, closed, open or horizontal position. This is the most secure car kit you have ever tried.
The device mounting adapter accommodates all devices/device cradles that have the AMPS hole pattern (a square like hole pattern) in the back of the device or cradle. The mounting adapter has a spring stud as a locking device.
The device mounting adapter consists of two parts - one male plate and one female plate that slides into each other and locks into place. The male plate attaches to the back of the device/device cradle and accommodates both AMPS landscape and portrait hole pattern/horizontal and vertical hole pattern. The female plate attaches to the ProClip Mounting Platform or any other type of mounting bracket or flat surface.
Due to the sliding feature the device or device cradle can easily be removed from the mount. Your device may have a windshield suction cup mount attached to the AMPS holes. If so, this has to be removed before you can attach the male plate. The pictures show the device mounting adapter in use with a Sirius ratellite receiver and a ProClip Mounting Platform.
